I have so many things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving: Â my family, my health, my friends, the opportunities I have to bicycle in France, finishing my first e-book, A Weekend Trip From Blois to Chambord, and last but not least, the ever growing number of great bike paths in France! Â For the last week, I’ve been working on my top 5 cycling routes in France for 2014 and I am amazed at the expansion of new and existing routes in the last year. Â But for today, I’d like to say thanks for the two terrific trips I enjoyed this year, and all the people who helped make this one of my best year’s cycling in France ever! Â I hope that you are starting to think about bicycling in France in 2014, and just to tempt you a bit, here are some of my favorite photos from this year.

My travels were full of so many experiences and new friends that I will probably never have enough time to write about them all. Â I am looking forward to incorporating many of my 2013 experiences into an upcoming book on bicycling in the Vaucluse region of Provence. So while the Mistral winds have taken over most parts of Provence, I will enjoy reflecting back on my travels, and give thanks for the opportunity to share my travels with you!
